About the Technique Swim Camp

The Technique Swim Camp has been developing individual swimmers since 1994 when our competitive program opened. In 1995 we recognized the need for an intermediate level program and opened a novice camp for younger swimmers.

The programs are under the direct supervision of Harvard coaches Stephanie Morawski and Tim Murphy, and Northeastern Head Coach Roy Coates. The Harvard Assistant coaches guide the daily activities of the Competitive, Young Competitive and Novice Camps. Click for more information on our staff.

The specific focus of the camp is on stroke technique, mental discipline, race strategy and strengthening exercises, while also emphasizing respect, cooperation and most importantly, the element of having fun while swimming.

The Technique Swim Camp rents facilities from Harvard University and Northeastern University, but is neither sponsored by, nor controlled by those institutions.

The Technique Swim Camp is not responsible for lost equipment or personal belongings.

This camp complies with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (105CMR430-00) and is licensed by the Boston Department of Public Health.

Camps located at Harvard University use Harvard's Blodgett Pool. Camps located at Northeastern University use Northeastern's Barletta Natatorium. Click here for directions to the pools.
