Are
the Head Coaches really at the camp?
Harvard
Head Coaches Tim Murphy and Stephanie Morawski, and Northeastern
Head Coach Roy Coates are on deck daily and provide underwater stroke
critique during the morning video sessions. The Harvard Assistant
Harvard run daily camp operations and also provide video review
feedback.

What
is the training focus for each day at camp?
We
focus on one stroke per day and a day of starts, turns and stroke
review. Swimmers are taught efficient technique methods and swim
25 and 50 yards of stroke drills in order to better understand the
body position, pulling pattern and kick of each stroke. The focus
on Monday is freestyle, Tuesday - backstroke, Wednesday - breaststroke,
Thursday - butterfly. On Fridays, the focus is on starts and turns.

Are
workouts provided?
No.
This is a technique camp.

What
is the ratio of campers to coaches?
The
Competitive Camp holds between 8:1 to 10:1 ratio. The Novice Camp
ratio may be slightly lower.

Do
you videotape?
The
Competitive Camp receives underwater video feedback twice a day.
Young Competitive and Novice campers receive underwater video review
once a day.

What
equipment do campers need to bring?
All
that is required is a suit, towel and goggles for water sessions.
Athletic shoes, t-shirt and shorts are necessary for our out of
water activities. Campers should also bring water bottles and label

Can
parents watch camp sessions?
Yes,
parents are welcome to watch camp sessions from the spectator section.
No parents are permitted on pool deck while camp is in session.
